Yes, we are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to offer defensive driving classes to dismiss your Texas traffic ticket and/or to get you a discount on your car insurance premium. You can check the TDLR’s website here to verify our license.
If you received a traffic ticket in another state like New Mexico, or Arizona you will need to check with the court first to see if you can take a Texas defensive driving class to satisfy their defensive driving requirement. We are only licensed for Texas. To the best of our knowledge there are no other in-person local defensive driving schools that are licensed for any other state than Texas.
Based on our past experience, courts in other states do sometimes allow a driver to complete a Texas based defensive driving course to meet the defensive driving requirement, but again, you should check with the court prior to taking our class.
